Our primary residential dumbwaiter is Elevation Innovation’s Econo-Lift residential dumbwaiter system. The Econo-Lift is a motorized dumbwaiter system and is fully certified by UL (Underwriters Laboratory). These units are designed to and exceed ASME elevator code. The commercial grade electric motor on the Econo-Lift residential dumbwaiter runs on 3 phase, 230 Volt gearbox and has an incorporated disc brake and includes a brake release that can be manipulated manually. This particular type of gearbox and controller system is most often only in place in high use, high quality commercial qualified systems that are specifically created to run 100’s of cycles per day. These dumbwaiters come with a number of features that are optional at no charge. We can install either a 20” x 20” x 30” unit that can hold up to 100 lb. or a 24” x 24” x 30” unit that can hold up to 150 lb.; and the cost is the same. The two other optional features are Honeywell EMI interlocks and an “In-Use” light on the call and send station.
